Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going somewhere.
On Saturday, Sept. 23, the couple were seen out at the 2017 Invictus Games, an event of Harry’s own creation that recognizes wounded veterans for their achievements.
Suits actress Markle was seated with friend Markus Anderson during the ceremony while Harry sat with Canadian PM Justin Trudeau.
Still, it was the first public event they’ve attended together — an important first, and a silent indication that the relationship is serious.

In the October issue of Vanity Fair, 36-year-old Markle opened up about their shrouded relationship:
“We’re a couple. We’re in love,” she shared. “I’m sure there will be a time when we will have to come forward and present ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time. This is for us.”
The actress also shed light on why keeping their relationship private is so important to her:
“It’s part of what makes it so special, that it’s just ours,” she expressed. “But we’re happy. Personally, I love a great love story.”
In other words, it’s only a matter of time until Harry puts a ring on it.
